Role Description
Help us incubate youth-led social start-ups in Uganda by becoming our trustee for monitoring and evaluation. Work with our team leader to develop our M&E framework and ensure the smooth collection and analysis of data.
We’re seeking someone with a proven experience and interest in monitoring and evaluation. This is a great opportunity to get a directorship role and really help a small and growing international charity.

Responsibilities
- Attend quarterly board meetings (these generally last 2 hours and are internet calls)
- Participate in our Impact Committee meetings. (Approx. 1 hour/month)
- Develop our Monitoring & Evaluation framework with assistance from our Team Leader
- Ensure impact assessment are performed by staff and report back to the board of trustees on findings.
- Keep abreast of best practices within the impact measurement space.
- Join other trustees in committing to United’s ‘Give or Get’ policy of either giving or fundraising for the charity.

Required Qualifications
- Ability to dedicate at least 2 hours a week to United
- Experience within monitoring and evaluation
- Have/Will get a police check

- Currently working in M&E
- Based in Uganda
